🇺🇸❤️ Memorial Day Reflection ❤️🇺🇸
Today, I want to honor not only the fallen, but also the ones who came home carrying invisible wounds that never truly healed.
My deepest love and gratitude go to Sgt. Anthony Hockensmith, II — a man who served his country with courage, sacrifice, and honor. The military asks so much of those who wear the uniform, but it also asks so much of the families who love them. War changes people. Sometimes the hardest battles begin after they come home.
To the man who stood tall for his country, who carried burdens most will never understand, and who continues fighting battles unseen every single day — thank you will never feel like enough. Your strength, your sacrifice, and your service matter more than words can express.
And to Master Sgt. Adee, who is currently deployed and continuing to serve our nation — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. While so many enjoy the comfort of home and family, you are sacrificing precious time, safety, and peace to protect others. We are endlessly grateful for your dedication, courage, and commitment.
Today we remember: ❤️ Those who never made it home. 🤍 Those who came home forever changed. 💙 The families who stand beside them through it all.
Freedom is not free. It is paid for through sacrifice, sleepless nights, broken pieces, unwavering courage, and love that endures through unimaginable hardship.
To every service member, veteran, and military family: We see you. We honor you. We thank you. And we will never forget. 🇺🇸
