💙 Andreea Vasile Hoxha returned to campus for ShowLTU CoAD 2026 and she had news to share! Since graduating in 2017 with an architecture degree, Andreea has:

➡ Pursued a Master of Landscape Architecture ('20) from the Harvard Graduate School of Design
➡ Earned national and international awards for her thesis "After Plastic: The Gardens of Glacial Forelands"
➡ Taught at LTU and University of Detroit-Mercy, and served as affiliated faculty for Clemson University
➡ And so much more!

She is currently a senior design professional at HOK+ROSSETTI, with a focus on research and innovation, client workshop engagements, and project storytelling.

Here is she (on the right) with Cyndi Spotts from LTU's philanthropy and alumni engagement team.

👨‍⚕️ Thank you, Stan (retired LTU professor) and Jan Harris, for generously supporting Claudio Malaj! Claudio is a 4.0 chemistry major, who is planning a career in medicine! Best of luck, Claudio, as you pursue your future in healthcare!

🥇 Yesterday, the philanthropy and alumni engagement team surprised four faculty and staff members with Behind the Blueprint certificates for their amazing impact on LTU students.

🎓 While over 80 members of the LTU community will be recognized for their positive impact, we want to thank Lisa Kujawa (enrollment management VP), Massood Omrani (CoBIT assistant professor), Cynthia Simpson (library services executive director), and Selin Arslan (CoE associate dean) for letting us capture their moment in pictures!

💙 We’ve learned how highly our alumni regard members of the LTU community and wanted an opportunity for students to recognize a professor, coach, administrator, or staff member who they greatly appreciated for their mentorship and assistance.

👩‍🏫 We hope our new Behind the Blueprint program continues for years to come and aptly expresses the gratitude they have for the people who meant so much in their LTU journeys!

⚽ So great to see 45+ LTU grads from the last 10 years return to play one more round of soccer with their fellow alums in Blue Devil stadium.

💙 The 15+ women and 30+ men who put their cleats back on had a blast competing and catching up over food while adding new alumni t-shirts to their collection.

💦 The day ended with the men's team drenching Coach Will Dyer the old-fashioned way - with a water jug.

🎓 Coach Dyer recently created the Aiden Smith Men's Soccer Scholarship while coach Andy Richards created the Women's Soccer Scholarship. Both will help talented and deserving student-athletes get a great education.
