LTU Formula Electric is a student-run SAE competition team that designs, builds, and races an electric formula car each year for the annual competition in Loudon, NH.

Two exciting deliveries in the past couple of weeks!

Firstly, our new inverter! Huge thank you to Cascadia Motion LLC, Borgwarner, as well as our own alumni Alex Hall Marco, for supporting us in this purchase and providing a generous discount.

Additionally, SuburbanBolt for giving us an in-kind donation of refreshments for our fastener supply!

Our sponsors are crucial for the success of our team, and their support is greatly appreciated.

Today, our leadership had the opportunity to meet with Bosch USA and present our team, who we are, and what we do to Bosch’s North American Electrified Motion group. This was an incredible opportunity, as we were able to foster some great relationships, and receive engineering experience to support our team.

We look forward to continuing this relationship with Bosch in the future. Thank you David Mosley and Mukesh Anand for the opportunity, and thank you the rest of the team for your interest in Formula Electric!

Happy Wednesday everyone!

I wanted to share with our alumni and supporters- this upcoming Saturday is the Grand Prix!

If you went to LTU and were a part of FSAE, you know how much fun this event will be! Or, if you are interested in learning more about the LTU Formula Electric team, please come and visit us at the Grand Prix! It’s going to be a lot of fun.

We had another company visit today!

The CEO of BorgWarner, and LTU alum, Joseph Fadool came to see the lab! We discussed our goals, and Joe gave us some very helpful insight for how to successfully manage our team to make this year successful. Thank you for taking the time to come see who we are and what we are about!

Hi everyone! It’s been a while!

This is the 2026 team, we are excited to share that we have begun the design process of our car.

We are looking forward to sharing our progress with you all along the way, and continuing participation with this crowd of FSAE electric fans! Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions about our plans for the upcoming year, events we will be attending, or whatever else you’d like to know!

Additionally, today a few of us (plus a combustion captain 🙂‍↕️) went and met some folks at Dürr, and brought the cars with us! Dürr has been a long time supporter of LTU as a whole as well as the combustion team, and it was a great opportunity to share about formula electric and give them insight into who we are and what we do. Thank you Dürr! It was a great way to kick off on-campus events, as we will be starting classes again next week.
