Let's Teach, Inc.

Let's Teach provides free/low cost racquet sports programs for youth as well as providing economic support for promising young athletes.

Let's Teach is a not for profit organization founded by Stanford All-American John Letts (Let's) and Australian Open Champion Brian Teacher ("Teach") as a way to give back to the great game of tennis which has given them so much. We run no cost/low cost youth programs in Pasadena, Riverside and Jurupa Valley as well as programs for at risk LGBTQ young adults in West Hollywood.

Classes will be held Mondays & Thursdays, 3:15–7:00 PM

💲 Registration: $100 for all 6 weeks
(For ages 4–6: the fee is $75, reflecting shorter, age-appropriate sessions)

We have exciting news!!!

Let’s Teach has been awarded a USTA Micro-Grant to grow our tennis program at Riverside’s Reid Park!

This grant will allow us to:

🎾 Update our equipment for an expanding program

🎾Offer additional scholarships for youth to attend iTennis Andulka classes

🎾Expand outreach and marketing to connect with more local schools

🎾Create new opportunities for former Let’s Teach participants to step into coaching roles

Partner Shout-Out! 🤝

This summer and fall, Let’s Teach has been teaming up with local non-profit All Colors One Love to provide pickleball programming in LAUSD schools and Boys & Girls Clubs.

All Colors One Love has a mission to teach physical and social fitness to youth through messages of kindness and respect in conjunction with activities like exercise and pickleball.

We’re excited to continue partnering with ACOL at the Santa Monica Boys & Girls Club and Paul Rivera Middle School this fall!

Tell your friends!!! Next week, Let’s Teach is starting low-cost beginner pickleball classes! These classes will be offered to everyone in the community at a discounted rate and take place in temporary courts at Brookside Park.

We’re offering both beginner and adult classes on Thursday mornings and Sunday evenings.

🎾 Player Spotlight: Emily Manalo

Emily’s tennis journey started at Let’s Teach’s Reid Park programs. She’s now a varsity athlete, CIF competitor, and league individual champion!

Emily gives back by volunteering as a coach at Reid Park, helping the next generation develop a love of the game.

“Tennis opened up my whole world. I’m happiest on the court,” she says.

We’re proud to support rising stars like Emily, leaders in tennis and in the community!

Hands in the air if you love pickleball!!!

This past week marked the end of our summer programming with the City of Pasadena, and we closed with a bang at Villa Park!

The kids were full of smiles, fun, and a new love of the game. We’re working on opening up more classes to keep the momentum going, stay tuned!
