Back-to-school season is here, and thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, Hillsides is making a difference! We’re deeply grateful to our amazing volunteers, Friends of Foster Children San Gabriel Valley, Campbell Hall, and Baby2Baby for donating and packing over 600 backpacks, each filled with notebooks, markers, pens, pencils, rulers, and more. Your support means thousands of children, youth, and families we serve are starting the school year with confidence and the tools they need to succeed. Together, we’re empowering futures and spreading hope. Thank you for being a part of our mission!

We’re still smiling thinking about our annual summer pool party! This year’s Hawaiian Luau brought so much joy - leis for everyone, a giant 20-foot water slide, tasty food, and the Kona Ice truck. Huge thanks to our amazing volunteers and generous donors for making this special day possible!

Lucy Garabedian Abdelradiy, affectionately known as "Mama Lucy," holds a profound place in our hearts and our history as Hillsides' longest-running employee, an inspiring record that speaks to her deep commitment and compassion. For decades, she has served in an integral role in our organization as a Child Care Counselor - guiding and supporting children where they live and receive treatment. Through her steady presence, love, and care, she has helped shape the lives of thousands of people.
