Soroptimist International of Tahoe Sierra at the Lisa Maloff Center, South Lake Tahoe. In addition, our club is mindful of the need to enhance the lives of women and youth throughout the world.

The mission statement of Soroptimist International of Tahoe Sierra is to “Strengthen and enhance the lives of women and youth in our community and the world.” We meet most Thursdays at 7:30 a.m. Soroptimist is an international organization with over 72,000 members in about 121 countries and territories who contribute time and financial support to community-based and international projects benefiti

ng women and youth. Our Mission Statement:
The mission statement of Soroptimist International of Tahoe Sierra is to
"Strengthen and Enhance the Lives of Women and Youth in our Community and the World". With our established mission in mind, we participate in programs at our local level based on the specific needs of our community. Benefits to membership include:
~Working on projects that improve the lives of others in need leads to personal satisfaction and recognition from the community.
~Cultivating relationships with other women who have similar interests and values is a central aspect.
~Meeting and learning about women from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds, and participating in projects that address needs throughout the globe.
~Networking with others representing a variety of professions facilitates valuable business contacts.
~Developing skills at the club level results in enhanced professional capabilities as well as leadership opportunities at all levels of the organization.
~Reaching out to others at the beginning of their professional lives provides an avenue to serve as mentors.

We’d like to say THANK YOU to our many supporters! Whether you are a Club Sponsor, an Event Sponsor, a financial or item Donor, an Attendee, or an Auction Winner, you have made a difference, and we’d like to thank you!

Join us on June 15 from 4:30- 6:30 pm at The Woods (3115 Harrison Ave) for a Supporter Happy Hour.
