Tahoe Arts Project (“TAP”) was established in 1987 by a group of parents,professional musicians and teachers to bring performing arts and cultural enrichment to schools in the South Lake Tahoe region in both CA & NV. TAP’s artists-in-schools programs meet the need for high quality fine arts activities for the children in grades K -12. Our programs include acclaimed performing artists from various

genres and cultures and have been nationally recognized as a role model for other arts-in-education organizations. TAP reaches over 5,000 students, within 10 schools in El Dorado, Douglas, and Alpine counties of California and Nevada. The artists whom students meet through the TAP programs serve as role models that demonstrate the values of self-discipline and the pursuit of excellence. Current research validates TAP’s philosophy that these experiences also help students develop their own creative and problem solving abilities, foster intellectual development and success in all academic areas. The mission of TAP is to provide cultural enrichment and diversity for the community through the arts and education with particular focus on our youth.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for Music on the Beach! What an incredible night of music, community, and support for the arts!

We’re especially grateful to our amazing raffle prize donors, voluteers and to Pat Ronan and Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge & Spa for hosting us on the beautiful lakefront. We couldn’t do it without you!

A special thank you to Niall McGuinness, Trey Stone, and Rocky Sleight for providing such fun and energizing music!

Get ready, everyone… TAP is starting our 40th season of bringing the performing arts into our schools and community! We can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with all of you!

Join Tahoe Arts Project (TAP) for an evening of Music on the Beach on Thursday, August 20, from 7:00–9:00 p.m.! Admission begins at 6:00.
Pat Ronan, owner of Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge & Spa, is generously hosting this benefit for Tahoe Arts Project, featuring live music by Niall McGuinness, Trey Stone, and Rocky Sleight.
Bring your blankets, low-back chairs, food, and beverages, and enjoy a beautiful evening on the beach. Please, no pets.
There will also be a raffle featuring some awesome prizes!
A suggested donation of $20 per person will support Tahoe Arts Project’s mission of bringing professional performing arts into the schools and community of South Lake Tahoe.
Before the music begins, TAP will announce the 2026 Dancing with the Tahoe Stars couples!
This is a family-friendly event, so bring the whole family and join us for a fun evening by the lake.
