Volunteer Retreat
Our 4-H Volunteer Retreat was held on Sunday, October 25th, and what a fun autumn adventure it was! Our group gathered at the Frostburg Train Depot, where we hopped aboard rail bikes and set off for a memorable ride through the beautiful fall scenery. Everyone had a wonderful time enjoying the experience, making memories, and sharing plenty of laughs along the way! Plan to join us next year! Our volunteer retreats are always a great time!

The 57th Somerset County 4-H Banquet was a tremendous success! We were thrilled to celebrate with over 200 4-H members, volunteers, parents, and sponsors who came together to recognize the hard work, achievements, and dedication of our amazing 4-H youth.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this special evening one to remember. Here's to another great year of growing, learning, and making the best better! 🍀

SLC registration is opening on Friday. Be sure to register in ZSuite for the new 4-H program year so your registration can be approved before Friday, allowing youth to register for the event! It'll be a good time!

🚨Mark your calendar for State Leadership Conference!

Registration for this event will open on ✨Friday, October 9 at 5pm✨ and close on December 1.

SLC will be held from February 5-7, 2027 at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center. The event is open to 4-H teens, ages 13 to 18.

You must be in active status to register, so be sure to reenroll as soon as possible if you plan to attend!

Recently, two members of Pennsylvania 4-H, a program of Penn State Extension, were inducted into the National 4-H Shooting Sports Teen Ambassador Program during a weeklong event held at the Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Georgia.
