Good Afternoon Families,
First, I want to thank everyone who has already stepped up to support our raffle fundraiser. Yesterday was a great start, and thanks to your generosity and hard work, we are currently about 20% of the way toward our fundraising goal! That is something to be proud of, but we still have a long way to go, and the next two weeks are going to be critical.
As many of you know, we are raising the funds necessary to replace our league's equipment shed. What started as a metal shed has slowly been patched, repaired, and pieced back together as we have tried to make it last. Unfortunately, we have reached the point where the temporary fixes are no longer enough. We are fortunate to have the support of a former coach and friend, Jeff Wood of Safe Harbor Sheds, but we need to do our part to raise the money to make this purchase happen.
This is about more than replacing a shed. It is about investing in our league, protecting the equipment our players depend on, and making sure we can continue providing a great experience for our kids for years to come. Every ticket sold brings us one step closer to that goal.
We will continue selling raffle tickets through Saturday, November 7, and we plan to draw the winners, Top Performers and top Teams before the weekend of November 14. We will have our raffle table set up and ready to go all day on October 31 and November 7. If you can spare some time to help sell tickets, please do. Every extra set of hands makes a difference! If you want a Raffle Sheet to sell tickets or simply purchase a ticket reach out to [email protected].
Now, let's take a look at how each division is doing so far. We have some great competition brewing! Top Performer and Teams will be decided at the end of the raffle so each team and each player still has a chance to take the top spot. Game On!

Congratulations to this weeks top performers and teams! Thank you for stepping up and setting the pace. Your efforts are making a real difference, and we appreciate every family that has contributed. Keep up the good work to stay on top. We have 2 more weeks anyone has a chance
We have already seen some incredible generosity from family members and friends who have purchased 25, 50, and even 125 tickets at a time. We cannot thank those supporters enough. Their generosity is a great reminder of what can happen when a community comes together for its kids.
At the same time, we cannot rely on just a handful of families to carry this fundraiser. We need everyone to do what they can. You don't need to sell 50 or 100 tickets to make a difference. Start by asking a few family members, friends, coworkers, or neighbors. Share the raffle with your friends. Bring a few tickets to work. Ask someone who might be willing to help support our league.
And remember, it only takes one ticket to win! Every ticket gives someone a chance to win while helping us reach a goal that benefits every player in our program.
I know our families have busy schedules, and I understand that asking for more time and effort is not always easy. But this league is built on the support of its families, coaches, volunteers, and community. We show up for our kids on the field, and now we have an opportunity to show up for them off the field, too.
Let's make the next two weeks count. Let's keep the momentum going, close the gap on our fundraising goal, and give our league the resources it needs to keep moving forward.
Thank you for everything you do for our players and for Somerset Youth Flag Football. Let's finish this fundraiser strong!
