Happy World Bee Day!

Bees have always held a deeply special meaning to our foundation because, after Olivia’s passing, they became a sign that reminds us of her. In moments when we least expect it, seeing a bee often feels like a little reminder that Olivia’s spirit, light, and love are still all around us.                                                      
What may seem small to others has become something so meaningful to our family, friends, and everyone connected to Live Like Livy. Bees symbolize comfort, connection, hope, and the beautiful ways Olivia still inspires us every day. Just like bees work together to help the world grow and flourish, Olivia believed in spreading kindness, learning, and literacy wherever she went.

We are so excited to share a new Livy’s Bookhive location at the corner of Olivia’s bus stop on Chambers Drive. This street is in the neighborhood where she grew up and made so many amazing memories. Now, this special corner has become a place where neighbors, students, parents, and children can stop, share, and enjoy books together.

We hope it continues to spread Olivia’s love for literacy, community, and connection throughout The Preserves for years to come.

Today we’re celebrating the recent graduates of Clemson’s AXO and such a special tradition, the Clemson ring.
A ring that represents hard work, memories, and lifelong connection. Olivia wore hers with so much pride, and seeing this tradition continue means so much.

We’re so excited to introduce our newest Bookhive at Wren Middle School in Piedmont, South Carolina!
A place where stories are shared, imaginations grow, and community comes together, just as Olivia always loved. Olivia was also a teacher at Wren Middle School, making this Bookhive especially meaningful as her love for learning continues in the same place she once inspired her students. We are so grateful to Wren Middle School for their support, this was a place Olivia truly loved teaching.
Through every book placed and every child reached, her light continues to shine.

Huge thank you to the Clemson Athletic Department for your incredible support of the Live Like Livy Foundation. We are so grateful for your continued support in helping us carry on Olivia’s mission of Learning, Light, and Literacy. Clemson held such a special place in Olivia’s heart, it was more than just where she worked, it was a community she truly loved, filled with energy, passion, and people who inspired her every day. Seeing her award proudly displayed and hanging in the athletic department was incredibly special and a powerful reminder of the impact she made. Being back in that environment and feeling that same spirit meant so much, and we are so thankful to you for honoring her legacy and continuing to be a part of it in such a meaningful way.
