The Somers Lions Club is proud to kick off our 60th year of serving the Somers community! For six decades, our members have come together to support local families, promote vision, support local charities, award scholarships, and make a lasting difference through service.

As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to another year of giving back, building friendships, and continuing our mission: “We Serve.”

Today we celebrate 250 years of America’s freedom, courage, and enduring spirit. From the founding of our nation in 1776 to this historic milestone in 2026, we honor the generations who have worked, sacrificed, and served to preserve the blessings of liberty.

As members of the Somers Lions Club, we’re proud to continue serving our community with the same spirit of volunteerism and dedication that has always made America strong.

Thank you for your continued support of the Somers Lions Club we love serving this community. It doesn’t matter if we are serving up fantastic BBQ on a hot summer evening, selling car raffle tickets to raise money for charity, hosting a town carnival 🎡 or helping with a more personal level, our motto “We Serve” truly is our mission. Join us as we celebrate **Somers’ 250th Anniversary** with great food, community fun, an amazing fireworks show, and the moment we’ve all been waiting for!

The Town of Somers is proud to celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary with an evening of community, patriotism, and fun at Reis Park!

⚠️ Please Note: Construction at Somers High School may impact parking. Limited parking will be available, and shuttle buses will run between the high school and Reis Park. Please follow all directions from the Somers Police Department and posted traffic signage to help keep everyone safe.
