✨Tonight, the Team Trev Foundation had the privilege of honoring one Somers Senior Athlete with the inaugural Team Trev Foundation Inclusion Award. This honoree does not only excel on the field, but has the heart, the grit, and the character that makes him an incredible human being. The extra effort to lift up those around him, and to recognize when that extra love and attention is needed the most, in the most natural and genuine of ways, is what makes inclusion so beautiful🫶🏻

✨Congratulations to Julian Ruck, whose kindness has made all the difference. We are so proud to honor you with this recognition in support of Trevor’s legacy, exactly one year to the day that we celebrated his tremendous life🐘❤️

✨Yesterday was a special game for Team Trev: the very best of the lacrosse communities came together, as well as some of Trevor’s favorite people. We are so proud to be a part of this family. Congratulations to these talented teams, led by their incredible coaches, who are some of the best in their sport and in life…on and off the field🤍🥍

✨As we reflect on the past year, we knew that as an organization, we wanted to give back and show our appreciation and gratitude in the most meaningful of ways to honor Trevor. Today at Somers Slam, we honored four boys from the youth lacrosse teams, nominated by their coaches, with the INAUGURAL TEAM TREV FOUNDATION LEADERSHIP AWARD OF 2026🐘❤️🙏🏻

✨Congratulations to Cooper, Tyler, Mitchell, and Logan: The four of you exemplify the qualities of heart, grit, and character that personified Trevor. Keep showing up: we are so proud of you🫶🏻

✨”365 Days”: Over the past year, we’ve learned so much about life, ourselves, others, the community as a whole, and the heart of our mission. We strive to make meaningful decisions to celebrate the amazing boy we’ve had the privilege of knowing. In order to honor Trevor’s legacy to the fullest, live like Trevor🫶🏻

✨Laugh from the moment you wake up, until the moment your head hits the pillow at night. Invest your time and energy wisely, to those who support you at your highest and lowest. Everyone is going through something, somewhere, at some point. You never know who you will reach when they need it the most. Do things that bring you joy, that leave you fulfilled. Dance, sing, laugh even more…our favorite prankster who was unknowingly funny and brought smiles to all of our faces as he greeted us in the school hallways, out in the community, and at games. Empathetic beyond his years, Trevor truly loved and cared for you with his whole soul. He had his own struggles, but his heart, his grit, his character would always outshine the challenges. He worked harder than anyone, resilient to the core 🙌🏻

✨As we reach this milestone, we ask that you continue celebrating our guy, on days 366, 730, 999, 52536 and beyond. Wear your favorite Team Trev gear all day, everyday. Share your favorite Trevor memories with each other, it’s hard to pick just one. And most of all, take a breath for yourself, to simply cherish the moment. 365 days is just a number, an important one, but Trevor’s legacy will continue to shine brightly with the love from our beautiful TT community🙏🏻

✨Another fabulous trio of Team Trev supporters and Peer Connections volunteers presented at the SMS MYP Showcase Night. Avi, Gianna, and Maddie created a fundraiser to purchase a new coffee cart and supplies for the Café Connections team ☕️

✨The CC team is made up of the students in Julia Mohl’s SPED classroom, where the students work on practical life skills, stocking/organizing their supplies, practicing their OT skills to create their amazing treats, using their Speech skills to promote their sales and interact/communicate with their customers. With the support of their service providers and classroom staff, as well as their incredible Peer Connections volunteers, Café Connections is in high demand… a true gift that brightens the hallways of SMS🐘❤️ Thank you Avi, Gianna, and Maddie for supporting such a beautiful part of the SCSD.

✨The Team Trev Foundation is so proud of our 8th grade students. Seeing their dedication to these projects is impressive, but seeing the heart behind each one is pure magic. Please consider donating to both the Café Connections Fundraiser and Rock for Trev in honor of Trevor’s legacy🫶🏻

✨Last night, the 8th grade students at SMS presented their MYP projects at Showcase Night. Ava, Emily, and Gabby will continue to honor Trevor’s legacy with “Rock for Trev,” a community based rock garden (June 24th, more details to follow)🐘❤️🪨

✨We are incredibly proud of these beautiful girls, inside and out, for their motivation, initiative, kindness, and love for our mission here at the Team Trev Foundation🫶🏻

✨Thank you Sammy and Syd for your enthusiasm and volunteering to help Ava, Emily, and Gabby start painting rocks to start promoting this project🙌🏻
