This is great information for when you lose a dog too. Knocking on doors in the area and talking to people, THIS 💯 is the way to do it. Do not pick up the dog and just take it out of its home area without doing this first. U can always hang a found dog poster in area you found the dog in, this also does help reunite the dog with its owners.

One of the fastest ways to reunite a found dog with its family is to talk to the people who live nearby.

Don't assume the family will see online posts right away. A few minutes spent talking to nearby residents can make all the difference.

Razor has been MIA for 2 weeks after escaping his home. We were called yesterday to help locate this boy. Well last night around 10 pm he showed up on our cameras in his backyard just like we suspected!!He looks very good for being out for 2 weeks because he is keeping himself safe, by hiding out. Fingers crossed he goes in the trap tonight 🤞🤞🤞If you have seen him around White Street please let us know.

This is the little dog that swam the river yesterday from Ludlow to Wilbraham because she was so scared. She was rescued and now being taken care of by Ludlow Animal Control Officer Octavia ❤️ Still no owner is reported her missing or looking😢
