Congratulations to the boys and girls track and field teams who both placed 2nd at the division 1 super regionals in north royalton this weekend. They told us being Booster President came with VIP graduation seating. The past and present of the Solon Athletic Boosters, checking in from graduation, congrats to the Class of 2026. The future of the club is bright, you’ll hear more from the new officers soon.

Baseball Ayden Jefferson: hit a home run against Brecksville Wednesday before his season came to an unfortunate end after getting injured on Thursday.
Boys Lacrosse Brady Shene: senior goalie...100% save rate against Lakewood before taking his talents to the press box for some first rate announcing.
Girls Lacrosse Callaway Rothstein (not pictured): Stepped up to join varsity and is immediate contributor
Softball Jordan Klein (not pictured): Came back from a back injury to play a great third base and added two big hits in our game against Hudson.
Boys Track Dylan Levy: has had a great senior season and just finished third in the Suburban Conference in the Pole Vault at a 13-0 mark.
Girls Track Zoe Russell: being on a team as talented as we are this season, Zoe does not get enough praise for how much she contributed to our success each week and she continued that work at the Tom Iwan Invitational. Zoe helped lead both the 4x100m and 4x200m relays to victories on Friday night and chipped in a 4th place overall finish in the 200m dash. We've swept the sprint relays at our last two invitationals with Zoe playing a significant role on our sprint relays each week. Thank you so much for all of your continued hard work and leadership. We are better for it each week. Keep chopping wood!

Baseball: Max Roseman touted a .500 batting average for the week including a 3 hit game against West Geauga.
Boys Lacrosse: Jake Taylor Senior Pole: Has become a defensive stalwart with a great attitude and a commitment to get better every day. He was part of a defense that only gave up 3 goals in each of the past two games.
Girls Lacrosse: Lacey Fox Is the glue that is keeping the team together.
Softball: Evan Barmen has been our most versatile player all year and has stepped in wherever we have needed. She has been consistent in the plate and has provide great energy and commitment.
Boys Track: Eshaan Bhansali (not pictured) has had a great spring, setting 3 PR's in all of the Distance events (800M, 1600M, and 3200M).
Girls Track: Allyson Vinson has consistently found a way to contribute for her team across jumps, hurdles, sprints and relays. So much so, Allyson has emerged as the second highest point scorer for her team at this point in the season. Allyson continued to pile on the points throughout the last week in April. At the Avon Reynolds Invitational, Allyson finished 3rd overall in the 300m IM, and helped lead two of our sprint relays to meet record times in the 4x200m (1:41.89) and 4x400m (3:57.84). Fantastic work Allyson! Thank you for your continued energy and leadership! Keep it up!

For Baseball, Gavin Dunmire threw a complete game shutout against Cloverleaf and also added 3 RBI over the course of the week! Then for Boys Lacrosse, Peter Nawn has recorded a goal in every game this year while displaying positive leadership and exceptional character. For Girls Lacrosse, Addison Gottschall is 9th grader on varsity girls lax team and is the anchor of the defense. For Softball, Izzy Shima is a Senior OF playing solid Centerfield all year and has come up big lately at the plate. Looking forward to her finishing the year strong. Then for Boys Track, Rajeev Patil had a huge PR in the 3200M run this past Friday, clocking in at 9:58.38. For Girls Track, Evie Amorino is in her freshman season, Evie, has found a way to contribute to our team in a multitude of ways across the jumps, sprints, and relays. Evie’s week this week, featured a Solon #4 all time long jump 18’00” on Wednesday versus Hudson, at a meet in which she also won the 400m dash. On Saturday at the Amherst Comet relays, Evie also contributed team points in all of her relays - high jump, long jump, and the distance medley relay. Evie finds a way each week and each meet to make her team better. We are so grateful to have her with us! Keep doing what you’re doing! It’s working!
