Tsalteshi Trails

The first high school cross country meet of the year kicks off Saturday at noon at the Skyview Trailhead. Teams come from around the state for the Ted McKenney Invite. This is the largest event of the year at Tsalteshi. Please give the teams space to do their thing Saturday. The Wolverine (K-Beach) and Slikok trailheads are still open for public use tomorrow. Don't cross onto the marked race course. And cheer the racers on if you happen to be out while they're running. Go, teams!

All main trails are cleared of downed trees from yesterday's windstorm. We'll get the singletrack cleaned up tomorrow.

That's a wrap on the regular Soldotna Cycle Series for 2026! We rocked, we rolled. We may have cracked a helmet, but we didn't toss our cookies!
