Hello volunteers!!
We have a Vietnam veteran who will be moving into permanent housing on June 10th at 9:00 in Soldotna. He is unable to do it himself due to health reasons and we will need some of our great Solve volunteers to help out!
This will be from U-haul in Soldotna to Binkley Street. Truck has been reserved already.
We could sure use some help with this move for one of our American warriors.
Please message us or let us know here that you can help out. Thank You.

WELCOME HOME !!!!!!
Please join us as we welcome home our peninsula veterans from mission 22 Last Frontier Honor Flight from Washington DC on Saturday April 25th at 6:00 PM at the Kenai Airport. We have a small group of veterans and guardians that have been on this flight and will return home on Saturday.
Let's come together as a community and give them the proper welcome home they so deserved but never received 50+ years ago !!
Bring signs, flags or banners to welcome them back home to the peninsula.

They have left Anchorage! Brian Johansen gives a great interview here.

Today we sent 5 veterans and 2 guardians on the last frontier honor flight from Kenai. They head to Anchorage and then on to Washington DC for a week to tour all of the veteran memorials.
NOTE: In the 11th hour we were advised 1 guardian was ill and would not be able to go. Kelli Cross Bologna stepped in at the very last moment and is now headed to DC as a guardian for one of our veterans. Solve Alaska stepping up again to serve veterans! Yay Kelli.
Thank you Grant Aviation and to all who came to give them a great send off.

We were able to deliver some firewood to an Army Veteran today. Bill has been having some health issues lately and has a hard time getting around. Such a pleasure to meet him and get to spend some time visiting with him.
What an appreciative man! Vets like Bill make it so worth the effort. Thanks for your service Bill.
PS- I promise Kelli didn't do all the unloading.
