First Annual All KY Native Plant Growers Sale!
Sunday, Oct. 4 from 1-4pm
Josephine Sculpture Park (3355 Lawrenceburg rd, Frankfort, KY)
Please join Dropseed Native Plant Nursery, Joy of Natives Nursery, ExtraFlora, Pennyrile Botanics, Oakland Farm Trees & Ironweed Native Plant Nursery at the artistic & interesting Josephine Sculpture Park south of Frankfort. There is no charge to attend. This event supports your local KY growers who have chosen wild type native plants for their livelihood. Sale is rain or shine and may be held in (or near) the barn. For specific questions, please contact specific growers.

Meet fellow plant enthusiasts, learn about KNPS, and explore the flora of the Land Between the Lakes area during the afternoon hike.

KNPS Fall Meeting at Kenlake SRP on Sept. 12th.
If you want to learn more about KNPS, meet other Kentucky native plant enthusiasts, and learn more about the native plants of Kentucky, then the KNPS Fall Meeting is for you! You do not need to be a KNPS member to attend.

We will have a morning session with talks and presentations and then after lunch we will travel to join OKNP botanist Devin Rodgers on a tour of select roadside grassland sites in Land Between the Lakes NRA.

On Wednesday, January 14, 2026, the Kentucky Native Plant Society and the Office of Kentucky Nature Preserves held our 5th annual, virtual, Botanical Symposium. Close to 200 folks were able to attend online to hear and see several presentations about our native plants and plant communities. We know that there are many who would have liked to participate, but were not able to do so. Videos of all presentations are now available to view on the KNPS website.

On Wednesday, January 14, 2026, the Kentucky Native Plant Society and the Office of Kentucky Nature Preserves held our fourth annual, virtual, Botanical Symposium. View videos of the talks.

LAST CHANCE: Online registration for Wildflower Weekend closes Sunday!

Here are the Friday hikes with spots left!

If you are not yet sure if you will be able to attend Wildflower Weekend you can register on-site on both Friday and Saturday, April 17 and 18. Just show up at the registration desk in the Woodland Center at Natural Bridge SRP. Many hikes have last minute cancellations and most of the hikes will be able to accommodate one or more additional hikers. So if your schedule frees up at the last minute, come on up to Natural Bridge. We would love to have you join us.
