Cincinnati Music and Wellness Coalition recently participated in the first of four Art on the Rise events at the Cincinnati Art Museum. This free community program brings together art-making activities, performances, and community partners on the Cincinnati Art Museum grounds, creating opportunities for connection and creativity for people of all ages. HealthRhythms facilitators Mollie Brewsaugh and Alpha Frierson engaged community members through interactive drumming experiences that promoted wellness, self-expression, and community building. We look forward to returning for upcoming Art on the Rise events on July 11, August 1, and September 5. Rhythm, connection, and a lot of smiles!

Recently, our CEO, Arlene de Silva, facilitated a Remo Inc. HealthRhythms Group Empowerment Drumming session with The Christ Hospital Health Network Heart Failure Support Group. Participants engaged in interactive rhythm activities that encouraged creativity, social connection, self-expression, and relaxation—all through the power of making music together.

HealthRHYTHMS is more than drumming. It's an evidence-based wellness program, supported by loads of research, that helps build community, reduce stress, and create meaningful shared experiences.

Would your support group, healthcare team, senior living community, workplace, school, or organization like to experience HealthRHYTHMS?

🎨 Join us in celebrating creativity, community, and the power of the arts!

Cincinnati Music & Wellness Coalition's own Lauri Ann Aultman, one of our HealthRhythms and Clavinova Connection facilitators, is a featured artist in The Heart of It All, ProjectArt Cincinnati's annual exhibition showcasing the work of Teaching Artists-in-Residence and their students.

The exhibition highlights a year of artistic growth and the impact of free arts education throughout our community. We are proud to see Lauri's artwork included in this inspiring showcase.

is growing!

We're excited to see our newest coalition member, Eileen Wolfington, already putting
her training into action in Missouri! After completing the Remo HealthRHYTHMS
Facilitator Training with Arlene de Silva in April, she has begun leading community
drumming experiences and bringing the power of rhythm, connection, and wellness to participants in her area.

This is an exciting milestone for our coalition, as it expands our reach into Missouri and helps more communities experience the benefits of recreational music-making.
Interested in becoming a HealthRHYTHMS facilitator? Our next training opportunity is coming up next week in Chicago, and we'd love to welcome you to our growing network of facilitators making a difference through rhythm.
