Recently, we celebrated our Second Year Indianapolis Fellows at their Send Off Ceremony 🎉

Over the past two years, these Fellows have grown as leaders, coworkers, and friends while making a lasting impact on the Fellowship and the Indianapolis community. We also recognized Fellows who embodied the 4 C’s of the Orr Fellowship — Community, Commitment, Career, and Continued Learning 👏

We’re so proud of this class and can’t wait to see what’s next for each of them. 💙

Season 3 is here!!!🎙️

In our Season 3 premiere, new host Margaret Barnett sits down with Chloe Perkins and Lily Urbanski for an honest conversation about being diagnosed with ADHD in their early 20s. Together, they reflect on what led them to seek testing, what the diagnosis process was really like, and how receiving that diagnosis shaped the way they see themselves, their careers, and their futures.

Getting our hands dirty for a greener Indy 🌱🌳

This past weekend, Indy Fellows teamed up with for a hands-on tree planting event in the College Park neighborhood. Together, we planted 50+ native trees to improve air quality, reduce carbon emissions, and beautify the community we call home.

Making an impact alongside great people and investing in a greener future for our city 🌿

This past weekend the Indianapolis Orr Fellows headed down to Red River Gorge, KY for some much needed R&R, fresh air, and quality time together away from the office. Between the hikes, late night laughs, and bonding activities we had an absolute BLAST.

Our chapter is feeling very grateful for this group and the moments that bring a little more balance to navigating life as a young professional.

What does it look like to lead with purpose?

At our latest Indianapolis Chapter BLSS, Fellows heard from and in a fireside chat centered on identity, community, and the experiences that shape how we lead and build.

Through honest conversation and real stories, they shared lessons on navigating leadership and entrepreneurship with intention. From building confidence in your career to creating something of your own, their perspectives challenged us to reflect on what meaningful work really looks like.

This week, the Evansville Chapter hosted a Bloom Bar Experience 🌸

In partnership with Old National Bank and Flowers & More, we brought together women executives and women Orr Fellows for an evening centered around connection, creativity, and community.

From building our own floral arrangements to having meaningful conversations, the night was a reminder of how powerful it is to create space for women to connect, share experiences, and support one another.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening so special. We loved seeing all of the beautiful arrangements come to life! 💐

✨ Welcome Weekend in the books! ✨

Earlier this month, the Evansville chapter had the opportunity to host the newest cohort of Fellows for Welcome Weekend.

Throughout the weekend, Fellows had the chance to connect with one another while exploring Evansville and experiencing some of the local spots that make the Evansville community so special. Highlights included a downtown bus tour led by Philip R. Hooper, where we learned fun facts about Evansville’s history and architecture, lunch at Patsy Hartigan’s Irish Pub, axe throwing and golf at Birdies, and cheering on the Ohio Valley Conference Championship game at the Ford Center.

The weekend wrapped up with small-group city tours led by current Fellows and a farewell brunch at Copper House, giving everyone one last opportunity to connect before their fellowship journey officially begins this May.

A big thank you to everyone who helped plan, host, and contribute to making the weekend so special. We’re excited to welcome this group to Evansville and can’t wait to see the impact they’ll make!

Leadership doesn’t stop at 5 PM 👏

At February’s Indianapolis Chapter BLSS, Fellows heard from Maria De Leon, Bryana Schreiber, and Adairius Gardner about what it looks like to lead beyond your 9–5 through community involvement, nonprofit work, and other ways to make an impact outside the workplace.

Moderated by Adeline Hatfield, the conversation sparked thoughtful questions and great discussion about how early career professionals can step into leadership in their communities.

Thank you to our panelists and everyone who joined the conversation! ✨

The Evansville Chapter recently hosted another session of our Business Leader Speaker Series (B.L.S.S.), bringing Fellows together to learn from leaders making a meaningful impact across the Evansville community.

We had the privilege of hearing from an outstanding group of nonprofit leaders who shared insights on leadership, community impact, and the role organizations play in strengthening our region:

• Laura Ferguson
• Erika N. Taylor, J.D.
• Amy Mangold
• Johnathan Pope
• Pat Creech

Their perspectives offered Fellows a deeper understanding of the work being done across Evansville to support individuals and families, while reinforcing the importance of community engagement and servant leadership.

Thank you to each of these leaders for taking the time to share their experiences and for the work they continue to do to make Evansville stronger!
