A great Rotary meeting this morning! Making over 130 Sack Lunches & Napkin Bundles for SHIP: Samaritan Homeless Interim Program in Somerville.

SHIP serves individuals and families in Somerset County facing homelessness, hunger, financial hardship, and other challenges—many of whom are unable to obtain assistance elsewhere. Through meals, emergency housing opportunities, counseling, and support, SHIP helps our neighbors meet immediate needs and work toward greater stability and self-sufficiency.

Preparing a lunch is a simple act, but it can make a meaningful difference to someone facing an uncertain day.

It was another great morning of fellowship at the Montgomery/Rocky Hill Rotary Club!

At this week’s breakfast meeting, we were pleased to welcome Cory Delgado as the newest member of Rotary International and the Montgomery/Rocky Hill Rotary Club. Pictured with Cory are his sponsor, Kevin Lynch, and MRH Rotary President Heather Achenbach. Welcome to Rotary, Cory!

Our guest speaker was Jeanne Skaar, Co-Founder and Co-Director of Montgomery Connect, a Montgomery-based nonprofit born from a passion for advocating for local families. Jeanne shared how she is drawing on her personal experiences and volunteer work with the food pantry, local schools, and the Elks Club to help build a stronger, broader safety net for our Montgomery neighbors.

Thank you, Jeanne, for joining us and sharing the important work of Montgomery Connect!
