About Us
The Montgomery Tennis Patrons Association was created as part social club and part charitable organization. Established more than 30 years ago when Montgomery was a sleepy farming community, it gave local tennis players a place to connect and helped grow interest in the game in the area.
Fast forward to today. Things have changed in Montgomery significantly, but many of the reasons we love the game haven’t. We relish celebrating a big win. We appreciate spending time with our teammates. We welcome meeting new friends and creating connections on the court. And now MTPA supports that by providing the social space to spend time with friends and teammates old and new.
Beyond enhancing the tennis community at Nassau, MTPA will also give back to the tennis community at large. As a charitable organization, all profits will go to help grow the game - through donations to local organizations that introduce kids to tennis, and development of our own initiatives to support youth tennis and increase adult interest and participation as well.
