Together We Can Fight World Hunger.
8,000 - 14,000 thousand children die each day from starvation or hunger related diseases. Mercy Meals of Siouxland utilizes volunteers ages 11 and up to package and donate fortified Rice/Soy meals for hungry and starving children throughout the world. Orphanages, refugee camps, feeding centers and disaster relief centers are some of the recipients of the meals.
We donate all of the packaged meals to Orphan Grain Train in Norfolk, Nebraska. Orphan Grain Train delivers the packaged meals to children in areas of most need in the United States and around the world at their cost. Meals are delivered at the point of destination by a Christian organization allowing the children hear about Jesus as well as receiving food.

• Donations are encouraged, but not required.
• Meals currently cost about 12 cents each to package.
