UPDATE: TEDDY (aka TITAN) HAS BEEN ADOPTED!! This is Teddy (aka Titan). He was tossed over the fence at Sherwood Humane Animal Shelter Labor Day weekend. I have been fostering him since Labor Day. He is quite a character. He's a Chiweenie, approximately 1-2 years old, weighs 7-8 pounds, curious/mischievous, skittish (doesn't like loud noises), housebroken, eats good/minds well, lap baby, walks good on leash. He is scratching and licking his paws-could be an allergy (will need to be checked out by vet). He's had heartworm, flea/tick pills, is microchipped and will need to be neutered. He's had some of his shots/vaccinations. Available for adoption at Sherwood Humane Animal Shelter.

Nauva is one of the sweetest cats you’ll ever meet! She LOVES to rub, talk, and purr. A true love bug!!! She’s about 4 years old, spayed, and available at the Sherwood shelter.

It’s time to tell three unvarnished truths about this beautiful boy. His name is Wrigley. And yes, his trainer is holding him like a baby and feeding him treats. First truth…of the thousands of dogs we’ve trained, Wrigley is one of the very best. No exaggeration whatsoever. He’s an absolute joy to train and to know. So very sweet, friendly and good. He’s a laid-back couch potato who just wants to be loved on.

Second truth…he’s a bully breed mix. But that’s just a label. Wrigley is the farthest thing from a bully. He’s a 2-year-old, 50-pound baby. You can tease him about it all you want, but Wrigley is not gonna change. When he’s 12, he’ll still be a big baby. He loves people and other dogs. The more, the better. But like many dogs, he draws the line at cats.

And now, the third truth. And this one hurts. A lot. Wrigley hasn’t gotten any applications. Not one. We can’t explain it. Because he is top shelf wonderful. All he needs is one person to him give a chance. Whoever it is will be amazed.
