The Sheridan College Foundation raises funds to support projects and programs that fall beyond Sheridan College’s operating budget.

Sheridan College Foundation, a 501(c)(3) Type I supporting organization, was established in 1964 to act as the fundraising arm of Sheridan College. Your generous contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible within the extent of the law. Through fundraising efforts, stewardship activities and investment strategies, we receive donated funds from individuals, foundations, corporations, alumni, and faculty and staff in support of Sheridan College projects and programs which fall beyond its operating budget. In addition, the Foundation partners with donors and the College to fund scholarships, faculty, staff and student opportunities, facilities and equipment expansions, college initiatives, and special capital projects.

📚 Join us for the Thickman Faculty Lecture at Sheridan College!

How has literature shaped the way we see rural life, agricultural communities, and the people who call these places home?

Join us for “Let Evening Come: Post-Pastoral Poetry and Writing Rural Spaces,” presented by Tyler Julian, HSSW, Associate Professor of English at Sheridan College.

Tyler will explore how rural spaces have been portrayed in literature through classical and contemporary poetry, discuss what authentic representation of rural places looks like, and bring rural poetry to life with a reading of his own work.

I am accepting this scholarship with much appreciation. I am in the Dental Hygiene program at Sheridan College and this money will help fulfill my dream of becoming a Dental Hygienist and being able to improve individuals’ overall health. I have been working hard to save money for this program, as it is not cheap, so this scholarship is a blessing! With much appreciation, Emma Carroll

Thank you very much for the generous scholarship. These funds are very helpful in allowing me to pursue educational classes this summer at Sheridan College. I am continually amazed at how generous the Sheridan community has been around my pursuit of two Associates of Science degrees. You are now forever a part of my journey. I know that my feelings and experiences are not isolated. Thank you for supporting all of us students here at Sheridan College! Sincerely, Jordan Carroll

Thankful Sunday!
I am writing to express my gratitude to you for choosing me to receive this scholarship. I work full-time to support myself and my education so this scholarship means so much to me. I am in a 2-year Health Science program currently. I plan to use my degree to further my career in the medical field. One day, I also hope to become a certified personal trainer. There was a point where I wasn’t sure if I’d ever be able to afford higher education, so your financial assistance makes a world of difference to me. Thank you so much! I cannot express how grateful I am to you. Sincerely, Trystyna Wlodkowski

I wanted to send my sincere gratitude for the scholarship I was awarded by your foundation. This brings ease of mind by helping with the cost of school while continuing to support my family at the age of 50. These are trying times and your foundation has allowed me to continue my education and focus on my studies. Your kindness and generous support will only strengthen my determination to achieve my goals. Sincerely, Mathew Sharp
