Beacon Independency Center “Beacon", formerly known as RENEW, is a local grassroots non-profit that has been in the community since 1972. Our company was founded by families who desired to see their loved ones know a full life. Those families worked with choice professionals and care givers to develop an organization to fulfill that vision. BIC continues to walk out that vision today. We have the

privilege of working with very special persons with disABILITIES. It is our purpose to provide services that will enrich their lives, as well as provide the tools for them to achieve the highest level of personal autonomy. See the Able not the Label! BIC services are designed based on the individual’s needs. Your loved one matters most. Individuals do not need to be defined by their disability.
