The Mahanoy Area Chamber of Commerce has teamed up with West End Fire & Rescue to bring you Freedom Fest & Block Party — part of our community’s America 250 Celebration honoring 250 years of American independence.

📅 Friday, June 26th
⏰ Starts at 4 PM
🎆 Town Fireworks at Dusk

We already have some vendors signed up and all local vendors are invited to participate. This event is all about bringing the community together, and we’re hoping to see local businesses, organizations, and families come out and join the fun.

Good morning and happy Sunday! Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers out there! Just spreading some love and positivity this morning.

This weeks message is expectations. We must stop expecting ourselves in other people. It is unfair to expect yourself in others when we all have different experiences and circumstances.

Do not build resentment. Instead, let it be. Accept. You can only set a standard for yourself because you only have control over your own actions and decisions.

Let others be.. Let situations be.. Let go, and let God. This will feed your soul with peace.

Act with genuine intentions and continue to follow your path. Love and God bless!

Good evening and happy Sunday, beautiful people. Just spreading some love and positivity to you all.

This weeks message is faith. Believe. Believe in God. Believe in yourself. Sometimes the things we want aren’t the things we need. The things you need, you already have. The rest is just abundance.

Faith and doubt cannot coexist, so before you start doubting the plan God has for you, just believe! You’re exactly where you need to be.

Stick to the plan and your purpose. Often we don’t stick around long enough to see our dreams come to fruition.
