We would like to have these signs fully funded soon so that we can get them made, installed and have a dedication for them on July 4th 2026 which is the 250th anniversary of our declaration of independence. Please donate what you can!

We will be installing a Gold Star Memorial sign which is a memorial to Gold Star Families who have lost a family member in the service. This will be installed in the Veterans section of the cemetery at the south side of Shell K**b. This sign still NEEDS FUNDING to complete the project. These signs cost at least $2500 each plus installation.

The sign project is part of the National Garden Club and the Dogwood Trail Garden Club.

Starting in January 2026 we will begin the Shell K**b commemorative map project. It will consist of adding businesses to the map who are interested promoting their business and Shell K**b in the process! Examples of the map are posted below that are similar to what the map will look like when it comes out later in the spring of 2026. If you are a Shell K**b area business that would like to be added to the map, please contact SKCB at [email protected] to discuss the map options that are available.

The Complete CCC Park History Pages are now uploaded which are very interesting!

This is one of three projects that we have in various stages of planning and completion!

The CCC Park #3753 is a project on hwy YY that is just starting, where SKCB will be installing 1925' of ADA compliant walking paths throughout the park, plus benches along the paths to rest and enjoy the park. The entire community of Shell K**b will be able to enjoy this project once it's completed. This project will include collaboration with the US Forest Service, the Shell K**b Lion's club and the Shell K**b Community Betterment organization to get this completed.

We will be looking for individual & business donations along with grants to fund the project. Thank you for your support!
