Who’s ready for the club fishing tournament?!?! The tournament runs Memorial Day thru Labor Day. The leader boards are up at Jeff's Tackle / The Wharf and ready for some big pigs! A few updates:

-We’ve raised the prize money for the adults! 1st place - $100, 2nd place - $75, and 3rd place - $50. 💰 💵 💰

-Similar to the $500 grand prize for adults, starting this year we’ll have a grand prize for the kids as well! We’ll draw the winner from the 5 category winners at the winter banquet (same format as the adult division). The prize will be made up of donations from local businesses.

The club sponsored Wisconsin Interscholastic Fishing Association kids outting is scheduled for the morning of Wednesday May 20th. We need volunteers with boats to accommodate these kids. Please contact Tom Veen who is organizing the event at 708-846-8510. You would be required to fill out a form for a background check because this is a school event.

Due to the current conditions of the Sheboygan River, our club has made the decision to cancel the salmon net pen project for this year. With the amount of rain we’ve experienced, river conditions remain unstable, and we feel it’s best to prioritize the health and safety of the salmon.

Instead, the salmon will be directly stocked into the Sheboygan River. Stocking is scheduled to take place on Friday, April 24.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and continued support.
