Tonight residents spent time doing a painting workshop, from a blank canvas to a finished painting. This was their first time doing acrylic painting, and I must say, they did a fabulous job.

Rick of Nellie and the Fat Man Father Daughter Baking Team labored for hours to make the most delicious Thanksgiving spread we could have hoped for. Not only was there plenty to feed our residents, but some of their family members and our former residents were also welcomed at our table. Luckily, there are some turkey and dessert leftovers today, but nary a slice of ham nor a bite of macaroni and cheese are anywhere to be found! Rick, we are grateful this holiday season for your ongoing support of our residents who recovering from difficult challenges. We are also grateful for your friends who provide the funds for you to feed so many folks. Thank you all from The Abode staff and residents!
