Nellie and the Fat Man Father Daughter Baking Team provided an incredible meal for 20 of us this Labor Day! Families came to enjoy a meal with their loved ones, off-duty staff stopped by to share a meal with residents, and residents invited friends, too. There was enough food for a small army and every single person enjoyed their meal, and seconds. There were some arguments about which dish was the best. And yep, we're still full! Thank you, Rick and Nellie, for sharing your talents and time, and thanks to your supporters for providing the funds for the meal! Just look at all this food! (I forgot to take photos of the FOUR loves of bread!). The delicious food was a treat, but just as importantly, we all felt a little special and loved today. Thank you for everything.
