Reminder: Trap league practice is this coming Wednesday, April 30th, 2025. If you are going to have a team please let Michelle or myself know before Tuesday afternoon so we can make up the schedule and have them available for pick up on Wednesday at practice. Currently we have all teams from last year returning.

Also, if you are interested in shooting either full time or as a sub, let us know. There are a couple teams that are still looking for shooters.

It is that time of year again. The Hancock Sportsman’s Club annual meeting will be held Wednesday April 16th at the club at 7 pm. Club address is W12374 County Road GG, Hancock. Must be a member to vote. Membership is $20 payable at the meeting. This is where the trap league rules will be spelled out. This is your opportunity to be part of the discussion.

If you want to shoot and have a team, please let Michelle Bacon (715-498-9420) know no later than April 23.

If you want to shoot but do not have a team, please contact either Michelle or Mark (715-340-2497). We can help put teams together, or fill existing teams if needed.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the Hancock Lions Club during the Fisheree. A lot of people, some nice fish and other than a minor issue with the tent and the wind, it was a great day. The Lions will be posting their winners soon.

Thank you all for supporting the Hancock Sportsman’s Club during our annual raffle. Tickets were $100 each, with only 100 tickets sold. A total of $6000 was given back to the fourteen winners. Congratulations to all of the winners. All winners have been contacted or club members are delivering prize money to respected winners. Here is the list of winners and amount won.

Thank you everyone that came out to support the Waushara County Animal Shelter. I will share final numbers when I hear from the organizers. A special thanks to the club members that were able to help with the scoring and bartending.. It was a very successful day.

This Friday evening, August 9, 2024 the Hancock Sportsman’s Club will be open for open shooting starting at 7 pm. This will be our last open night of the season. Weather is supposed to be nice. Come on out and enjoy the evening with us.

Quick reminder that the club has open shooting this Friday evening, July 26th, 2024 starting at 7 pm. With the small crowds we have had so far this week and next week will likely be our last open nights of the year, unless we get bigger crowds.

Due to the Inclement weather, we have decided to cancel the open shooting tonight.

We will try again next Friday at 7 pm.

This Friday, June 28, 2024 we will be open at 7pm for open shoots. Everyone is welcome, and anyone under 16 that has had hunters safety is welcome to shoot as well.

The Friday shoots will continue every weekend through July. After July 26th, we will determine whether we will continue additional Fridays through August based on attendance these first few weeks.

Good morning everyone ! I have gotten a few questions about when we will be doing Friday evening open shooting.

We are scheduled for open shooting starting Friday June 28th and every Friday in July. Additional shoots in August will be subject to attendance at the scheduled dates. These will start at 7 pm at the club along GG.
