🎉 Victory Olympics – Gillett, WI 🏅

Yesterday, our Bridge the Gap clients and students had the amazing opportunity to attend the Victory Olympics in Gillett, WI! 🎈 From fun games to engaging activities, our participants enjoyed a day filled with excitement, smiles, and a true sense of accomplishment. 💙

We’re so grateful to have been invited to be a part of this wonderful event. A huge THANK YOU to the dedicated volunteers and generous donors who made it all possible — your support helps create inclusive moments that matter. 🙏

Every participant walked away with pride and joy, showing the world that I AM A WINNER. 🌟

Our Bridge the Gap clients had a blast this morning enjoying delicious goodies while practicing real-world skills like appropriate social interactions, good manners, ordering with confidence, and clear communication.

Experiences like these go beyond the pastries—they build independence, self-esteem, and lifelong social skills. 💬✨

Now Hiring: Full-Time Direct Support Staff (2 Positions)
Location: Bridge the Gap, Inc. – Shawano Center
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, Year-Round
Wage: Based on experience
Bridge the Gap, Inc. is a community-focused organization supporting individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. We’re seeking two Direct Support Staff to join our team at the Shawano Center.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with daily group programming and activities
• Support clients and students in structured and recreational settings
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment
• Provide flexible support where needed throughout the day
• Collaborate with staff to meet client needs and goals
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary in human services a plus)
• Experience with developmental disabilities preferred
• Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must pass a background check
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Thursday (summer and school year)
Compensation: Based on experience; training provided
