The first read through! This Halloween season, ACTS is stepping into the shadows with director Maria Ackley taking on The Edgar Allan Poe Afterlife Radio Show. Maria says:

"I am directing a wonderfully talented cast in what will be a fabulous show in the 40 Below venue at ACTS PAC, which lends itself perfectly to the haunting atmosphere of this show. Poe is more than the dark voice of the 19th century, he is woven into the very fabric of Gothic literature and we're bringing him off the page and into a room - that will consume you if dare. I hope that you will descend with us into Autumn."

This cast and crew can't wait to haunt the theater with the eerie stories of Edgar Allan Poe! We hope you'll join us.

The Edgar Allan Poe Afterlife Radio Show will be presented in 40 Below on October 30-31 and November 1, 6, 7, and 8. More information at actspac.org and coming to this space soon!

Ten years ago, the five surviving nuns from the Little Sisters of Hoboken graced the stage at the Pierce Opera House when ACTS presented Dan Goggin's Nunsense.

ACTS has had so much fun being silly with shows like this, but we have fun being serious too! And we have so much fun when YOU get involved, either in the audience, behind the scenes, or on the stage.

🕰️📅THROWBACK THURSDAY📅🕰️

Can you believe it was FIFTEEN YEARS AGO that ACTS presented Songs for a Summer Night? It was the first r***e that ACTS presented and only the third show ever (Mousetrap started us off, then Pirates of Penzance).

It's so fun to look at all the familiar faces on stage then and see how far they (and we) have come since then. And no, we didn't get older, we just improved with age.

🌲✨AUDITION REMINDER✨🌲

Last December, four spirits helped Scrooge see the true meaning of the holiday season. This December, ACTS brings you another holiday classic to warm your heart and kick off the Christmas season. Tonight is your last chance to audition for Irving Berlin's White Christmas, to be performed at ACTS PAC on December 4-6 and 11-13.

Auditions are tonight, Tuesday, August 25th from 7-9 pm.

No experience is necessary. Interested performers should be prepared to sing 32 bars of their favorite upbeat Christmas song and bring sheet music along for the accompanist. The audition will also include dancing (bring appropriate footwear) and a cold read from the script for anyone who is interested in a principal role. The cast includes children and adults. Come join us in 40 Below to present ACTS Sings: Duos and Duets!

Duos and Duets is a dynamic celebration featuring powerful pairings and unforgettable musical moments. Join us in the collaboration, storytelling, and magic that only happens when two voices share the spotlight.

Interested performers should come and audition in pairs if possible and be prepared to sing 32 bars of a song of their choosing. 1 - 2 potential memorized songs for consideration and selection are preferred. If you need suggestions, just come and audition, we're here to help!

If you want a solo, then someone else must sing a solo from the same show.

*Please note that songs sung in auditions will not automatically be included in the show but will be considered.*

All songs in this show will be either 2 solos from the same show or a single duet song. Auditionees are expected to bring 2 copies of sheet music & a digital copy, as an accompanist will be provided.

Rehearsals will be primarily scheduled on Mondays & Wednesdays.
Performances will be September 25, 26 @ 7:30pm and September 27 @ 2:30pm.
