The Seymour Oxford Food Bank is a place of SOLIDARITY. We welcome our neighbors with open arms and provide love and care with a side of FOOD.

YOU are not ALONE in Life! We are here with you. ❤️ We are a local food bank that was established by the Seymour Oxford Clergy Association in 1979 to meet the growing request for food assistance within the church communities. In 1981, the food bank became a member of the Valley Food Bank Network and began serving all residents of Seymour and Oxford in need who fell below poverty level. The food bank became incorporated in 2014 to become Seymour Oxford Food Bank, Inc. governed by a Board of Directors and run by a staff of volunteers. And in 2016, the SOFB received its 501(c)3 charitable organization status allowing for all contributions to be fully tax-deductible. If you find yourself in need of our help, please contact us at 203-888-7826 to make an appointment to come in to shop once per month, on Tuesday or Thursday.

🦃 WE ARE READY FOR ALL THE TURKEYS!
Thanks to our amazing friends at Big Dipper Ice Cream of Seymour we are able to accept ALL of the turkeys, turkey breast and whole chickens this year! They have graciously donated space in their parking lot for us to store a freezer trailer! Please go support them while they are still open in November. They did not have to do this, and were a YES from the first conversation.
That means more holiday meals, more full tables, and more smiles for families in our community.
We are so grateful for community partners who step up and help make things like this possible. Together, we can make the holidays a little brighter for our neighbors in need!

❤️ November is a BIG month for us at Seymour Oxford Food Bank!
Along with keeping up with our regular food distributions, we’ll also be preparing and distributing holiday meals to help our neighbors in need enjoy a special holiday season. 🦃🍂
This is one of our busiest times of the year, and we couldn’t do it without the generosity and support of our amazing community!
