The Love Mom XOXO Foundation, Inc., is a family bereavement 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The Love Mom XOXO Foundation was created in memory of Lynn Nespoli Lewis.

The mission of the Love Mom XOXO Foundation is to help surviving parents and their children who suffered the sudden loss of a parent or co-parent. We offer peer to peer support, activities and provide much needed goods, services and financial support to assist them through this difficult time. A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out yesterday to play in and support our Birdies & 21 Golf Tournament! 🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️💛

If you’ve never played in a golf tournament, I have to say… you should try one! You honestly don’t even have to know how to play golf — you just need to know how to have fun! 😂 Most tournaments are best-ball, so as long as you have someone on your team who can actually hit the ball, you’re going to be just fine!

What I personally love about golf tournaments is that you get to spend an afternoon with family, coworkers, friends, and make new friends along the way — all while driving around in a golf cart, playing music, having a few beverages, enjoying some great food, taking a swing or 2 and usually sharing a LOT of laughs. And let’s be honest… it’s one of the few sports where you can do all of that without having to run around and sweat — unless Mother Nature decides otherwise! 😂 And yesterday, Mother Nature definitely cooperated. We had a beautiful day! ☀️ Thank you, Lynn! 😇💕

Because of everyone who played, donated, volunteered and supported us, we are one step closer to my dream of creating a perpetual scholarship fund for children who have suffered the loss of a parent or co-parent. ❤️

And to all of our volunteers — THANK YOU! It takes a village to pull something like this together, and my village absolutely ROCKED! 🥰

What a day we had yesterday at our 4th Annual Build A Backpack Scavenger Hunt!! We would like to thank all who came out in the sweltering heat to join in the fun and who had a table set up. It was so nice to spend the afternoon with everyone!!

The winners of our 2026 Build A Backpack Scavenger Hunt are:

🏆1st Place - The Chipmunks 340 points
🥈2nd Place - Adventure Squad 305 points
🥉3rd Place - TIE - Kevannah & The Benchwarmers 275 points (winner will be determined after photos/video review)

Our 4th Annual Build A Backpack Scavenger Hunt is less than a week away on Saturday August 8th! This years event is being sponsored by Bushi Ban CT and Seymour Pink - THANK YOU sponsors!

Teams will have the opportunity to compete against each other in our Scavenger Hunt and free school supplies will be handed out to all. Thank you "Kids 4 Kids" for their amazing school supply donation drive and to all who donated. We also have over 150 backpacks to hand out courtesy of Bushi Ban CT and Vox Church! (Participation in the scavenger hunt is NOT required to receive a backpack).

Start and end point this year will be the SEYMOUR TOWN HALL. Most challenges can be completed within walking distance while exploring downtown. Prizes include gift cards courtesy of Warby Parker, Big Dipper Ice Cream of Seymour and more! Prizes will be awarded for the team with the highest points.

2:00 pm - Informational Booths & Vendor Setup
3:00 pm - Team check-in and Informational Street Fair starts.
4:00 pm - Scavenger Hunt Begins
5:30 pm - Scavenger Hunt Ends

🎉 Excitement is in the air! Get ready for our 4th Annual "Build A Backpack" Townwide Scavenger Hunt along with a Seymour Downtown Street Fair! If you are interested in having an informational booth or a vendor table please register. (Tables will NOT be provided, you must bring your own. You can set up anytime after 2 pm.)

The Town of Seymour and the Love Mom XOXO Foundation have teamed up again to host this community driven fun event! Teams will have the opportunity to compete against each other in our Scavenger Hunt and free school supplies will be handed out to all thanks to the "Kids 4 Kids" school supply donation drive! Teams will have 1.5 hours to complete their tasks. The 1st 100 children to participate will receive a free backpack courtesy of Bushi Ban CT! Start and end point this year will be the SEYMOUR TOWN HALL.

Trophies and prizes, including a gift card donated by Warby Parker will be awarded for the team with the highest points and best team name.
