Wow! Looks like fun! Gloucester County Education Association sponsored BDC’s first of two water days. The awesome BDC staff put on a great event for our younger students today, and the older students will join in the fun tomorrow. The PTO secured fencing donations, generously provided by Joseph Fazzio, Inc., to keep the students safe and having fun. It allowed a lot more space for all that splashing! 🩵

🎉 We launched Week 1 of our Summer Send Off Surprises program today by surprising staff with a Hydration Station! 🎉 Staff could stop by the Family Center to fill up a cup with water and ice, then get creative mixing in different flavors of drink mixes and syrups. Yum!

🎉 Wow! We have 25 supporters who have donated to our final fundraiser of the year! 🎉 Thank you, thank you! The PTO is having fun getting our month of Summer Send Off Surprises all set up. 🤗

We have our first five supporters! 🎉 We’re making one last ask for the school year—your donation of $5 will help the PTO bring lots of fun surprises to the BDC community and finish the year strong.

For each of the three full weeks in June, we have surprises planned for students and staff! 🤗 Guess what? We’d love to thank our supporters too, so a few lucky donors will get a surprises of their own! Stay tuned to see each surprise revealed.

🗳️ The ballots for ‘26 - ‘27 have been tallied. 🗳️

✨ The slate of nominated candidates have been elected, and the proposed rate for membership dues has been approved.

✨ Thank you to the candidates for volunteering your service to the organization! Amber Berkemeijer, Chrissy Pastore, and Marna Lampe will be reprising their roles on the board, and Sarah Cifone will be installed as our newest member at the June meeting.

✨ At last night’s meeting, the Executive Board gladly elected Gina Douglas to serve as Staff Liaison for the ‘26 - ‘27 year. We are so thankful for Gina’s willingness to volunteer to serve in PTO leadership again next year.

✨ Thanks also go out to everyone else that has supported the PTO along the way, made donations or participated in our fundraising efforts, assisted with our programs, registered for membership, and/or voted. Our BDC community is amazing!
