Congratulations to SUNA's very own Julian L. Gallegos, PhD, MBA, APRN, FNP-BC, NREMT, CNL, CMHE, FAUNA and Susanne Quallich, PhD, ANP-BC, NP-C, CUNP, FAANP, FAUNA for their leadership in establishing Men’s Health Nursing as an officially recognized nursing specialty. With approval of the Men’s Health Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice by the American Nurses Association, this historic milestone marks the first time any health profession has formally recognized a men’s health specialty. We are proud that SUNA members helped lead this national effort to advance care for boys and men.
