If you’re in the South Jersey area or just looking to take in some competitive hockey for a great cause, adjust your weekend schedules accordingly, because your NJSP Hockey Club is looking to bring the heat to the competition in this year’s annual summer Checking for Charity Hockey Tournament.

Checking For Charity (CFC) is a non profit corporation that is changing the world through competitive hockey events. Using a unique hockey centric approach to raise money and awareness for the various charities represented at CFC tournaments has inspired people to become a part of the Checking For Charity movement.

So bring your friends and family and come cheer on the team this weekend!

🏒🥅We are 2 days away from puck drop at the inaugural NJSP Invitational Tournament. Tournament schedule is listed above. 🚓🚒

This year’s beneficiaries will be “We Feed”, a Woodbridge-based food bank, and the Troopers United Foundation.

🙏We will also be accepting non-perishable food items to be distributed to We Feed at a later date.

🚨Come watch and enjoy a great weekend of hockey!

This Saturday at 230pm, the NJSP Hockey Club takes on the NJSPBA Strongest at Flemington Ice Arena in Flemington, NJ. This First Responder Hockey Association game will benefit Retired Cpl. Serrone of the Raritan Police Department, who is battling ALS.

Tailgate for the event starts at 11am, with puck drop at 230. Tickets are $15 with proceeds going directly to the family.

From June 6-8, 2025, the NJSP Hockey team will be hosting the inaugural NJSP Invitational Tournament at The Club at Woodbridge, located at 585 Main St. in Woodbridge, NJ.

3 game minimum plus finals.

NJSP Hockey Fans! Come out and watch us faceoff against the Port Authority Ice Hockey Team in our annual Toy Drive event. All donated toys will be distributed to area hospitals before Christmas.
