We’re so excited to host Jackson Emmer and Martin Gilmore at Resurrect Art Coffee House Gallery this Thursday for our Spring Membership Concert! It’s going to be a special night in one of our favorite cozy spaces.

A quick heads up: this is a sweet, small venue, so space will be limited. We appreciate your patience and can’t wait to share the evening with you!🎼

This show is donation-based (suggested $10 for non-members), and active Seward Arts Council members get in FREE 🙌

The Seward Community Band takes the stage tomorrow! 🎶

They’ve been hard at work preparing a lineup of timeless tunes, featuring music from some of your favorite films over the years! This will be a fun, nostalgic night the whole community can enjoy.

As always, this event is free to attend, made possible by the generous support of Seward Community Foundation and the Alaska State Council on the Arts.

Join us tomorrow for our Main Event Reading! Open to all and featuring incredible voices connected to the newly released Alaska Literary Field Guide. This is a special moment for our community, and we’re thrilled to welcome our visiting poets and guests to Seward for this weekend of creativity and connection.

We’ve got a full lineup of workshops, readings, and gatherings still ahead—and there’s still space to register for many of our smaller events!

We’re in the heart of Seward Poetry Festival week, and the weekend lineup is looking good! ✨

Join us for a full slate of free events! 📖 From a hands-on Writers Workshop and a special evening reception, to a Writers Circle at the Alaska SeaLife Center. And of course, our Main Event Reading at 2:00 PM on Saturday, no RSVP needed for that one, just come on in. We’d love to pack the room!

A gentle heads up: while all Seward Arts Council SPF events are free, a few do require registration (the Writers Workshop, Gateway Reception, and Writers Circle), so be sure to secure your spot.

Join us for the Seward Schools Art Show, a special collaboration with the Seward Poetry Festival and Seward Artists in Schools!

Come celebrate the creativity of our young artists with:
🎨 Student art exhibits throughout the school

💃 A dance performance by 1st & 2nd graders with Miss Lola
