Finding Healing This Holiday Season 🌲

The holiday season reminds us that the health of our community as a whole can make a big impact on a much larger scale—in our households and for generations to come.

We felt it fitting to offer some perspective and tools for those who may find themselves encountering challenges during this time.

The holidays bring joy, but they can also stir old wounds. Family dynamics, grief for loved ones no longer at the table, financial stress, or the pressure to feel festive when we're struggling—these are real, and you're not alone in feeling them.

Our ancestors gave us powerful tools for healing:

🎵 Humming and singing calm our nervous system—traditional throat singing and songs weren't just art, they were medicine
💃 Dancing and movement help us release stress and tension our bodies hold
🌲 Connection to the land grounds us in the present moment
🫁 Deep breathing signals to our body that we are safe

These aren't new practices—they're ancestral wisdom that modern science is only now beginning to validate. When we honor these traditions, we honor the strength and resilience passed down to us.
This season, give yourself permission to:

Feel whatever comes up—joy and grief can coexist
Recognize old patterns without judgment
Choose differently when something no longer serves you
Reach out for support when you need it

Every small step toward healing creates ripples that extend beyond us—to our children, their children, and the generations to come. That is the truest gift we can offer.
You carry everything you need within you. 💙
