Sierra Copeland with Careline Crisis Services is here today to talk with everyone about the 988 Su***de and Crisis Lifeline. Come by at 1:15pm to learn more about this resource and ask questions about how to support yourself and your loved ones during a crisis.

Medicare will not call to verify your Medicare number. They will also never threaten to cancel your benefits if you refuse to give it to them. This is a sign the caller is a scammer. If you get a call asking for your Medicare number, hang up.

If you did give out your Medicare number, don't panic. Contact the SMP to report it and get help on the next steps.

Losing a loved one to su***de is difficult and can come with a lot of complicated emotions. There is support available to help survivors of su***de loss like you, your friends, and family cope with the loss.

Visit with a 988 representative at the Seward Senior Center on Wednesday, August 26th at 1:15pm to learn more about the resources 988 has available.

It's going to be a bustling day today at the Seward Senior Center!

At 9am we have our Retired Teachers Breakfast featuring:
Egg Salad on Croissant
Crispy Hashbrowns
Southern Peach Crisp
Freshy Fruit
Cheap Coffee

Then at 1pm we have our monthly Gait Analysis visit from Mark Venhaus with Advanced Physical Therapy

If that isn't enough adventure for you, then stay until 1:15pm for a thrilling presentation by Buck Crouch on his trips to Mexico! Adventure Series Presentations are open to the community. Please come on an adventure with us!

We are closed for cleaning tomorrow, so we would love to see you in the center today. We hope you spend some time on Thursday creating your Jell-O Masterpiece for our contest on Friday. What an action-packed week for Seward Seniors!
