🌸🌿 CAT North FFA Plant Sale at SpringFest 🌿🌸

Join us on May 2nd from 10 AM – 2 PM during CAT North’s SpringFest for a day full of plants, community, and celebration!

Our agriculture students have been working all year in the greenhouse to grow and cultivate a wide variety of plants, and they are so excited to share them with you. Come out and support these awesome students while finding something perfect for your home or garden!

🌱 We’ll have something for everyone, including:
• Starter vegetables, fruits, and herbs
• Beautiful flowers and hanging baskets
• Succulents and houseplants
• And so much more!

🌟 Plus enjoy:
• Open salon services with cosmetology
• Delicious baked goods from our baking program

Yesterday, CAT North FFA members had a great time visiting two awesome local farms! We toured Green View Hydroponics and learned about hydroponic growing and innovative agricultural practices. We also visited FAFO Farms, where students learned about the Scottish Highland cattle breed and got to see many other livestock as well.

Thank you to the farmers who took time out of their day to welcome our chapter, share their knowledge, and provide such a valuable learning experience for our students. We truly appreciate your support of agricultural education!

Today CAT North FFA members had an incredible experience at FFA Day in Annapolis! Students had the opportunity to see the Maryland House in action, meet the Maryland Secretary of Agriculture, and tour the historic State House while learning how agricultural policy and leadership impact our industry. 🌾🏛️

We were especially proud to celebrate our very own Mrs. Skinner, who was recognized and announced as the Region 3 Golden Owl Award recipient a well-deserved honor for her dedication to agricultural education and student success! 🦉💙💛

It was a great day representing FFA and advocating for agriculture!

Today, CAT North FFA members had the incredible opportunity to attend the 25th Annual Mid-Atlantic Women in Agriculture Conference! 👩‍🌾❤️🌾

Our students spent the day learning from inspiring women leaders in agriculture, exploring career pathways, building leadership skills, and connecting with professionals who are shaping the future of our industry. From workshops to networking sessions, the experience empowered our members to see the many possibilities available to them in agriculture and natural resources.

We are so proud of these young leaders for representing CAT North FFA with professionalism, curiosity, and enthusiasm! The future of agriculture is bright — and it’s in great hands. 💙💛
