It’s time to show your CAT North FFA pride! 🌱🚜 Our annual FFA apparel shop is officially open for the next few weeks!

Whether you’re an FFA member, parent, family member, alumni, or supporter of our Agriculture Program, this is a great opportunity to grab some CAT North FFA gear and represent our chapter!

What an incredible week at the 98th Maryland State FFA Convention! 💙💛

CAT North FFA was proud to have 11 members represent our chapter through competitions, career development events, leadership activities, and agricultural experiences.

🏅 Competition Results:

🌿 Environmental & Natural Resources
• Rosie Roberts – Gold
• Amarely Ramirez-Franco – Bronze

💼 Employment Skills
• Mia Brancato – Bronze

🎤 Senior Extemporaneous Public Speaking
• Trilby Moore – Bronze

🐔 Poultry Evaluation
Our Poultry Evaluation team proudly represented CAT North FFA and showcased their knowledge and skills in one of agriculture’s most important industries.

🍎 Award
• Paislee Rice – Maryland FFA Award Recipient

Beyond competitions, members participated in workshops focused on entomology, service dog training, and leadership development. Students also explored Maryland agriculture through farm tours, learning about beef cattle operations, canning and food preservation, and tree production.

The State FFA Convention provides students with opportunities to grow as leaders, develop career skills, and connect with members from across Maryland. We are incredibly proud of all 11 students who represented CAT North FFA with professionalism, enthusiasm, and dedication throughout the week.

🎓💙 As graduation season comes to a close this week, we want to take a moment to recognize our CAT North FFA seniors.

Over the past three years, these students have dedicated countless hours to our chapter, stepping up as leaders, mentors, competitors, and friends. They have helped shape our chapter into what it is today through their hard work, commitment, and willingness to always lend a hand.

While we are sad to see them go, we are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and excited to see what their futures hold. Whether they are heading to college, the workforce, the military, or pursuing other opportunities, we know they will continue to make a positive impact wherever they go.

Thank you for everything you have done for CAT North FFA. Your legacy will remain a part of our chapter for years to come.

We are incredibly proud of our members who were recognized at our Chapter Banquet for reaching important milestones in their FFA journey!

💚 Greenhand Degree Recipients – Congratulations to our 6 members who earned their Greenhand Degree! This degree recognizes students who have taken the first steps in learning about FFA, agricultural education, and leadership opportunities.

💙 Chapter Degree Recipients – Congratulations to our 5 members who earned their Chapter Degree! This achievement reflects their continued involvement in FFA, growth in leadership, and dedication to their SAE projects and chapter activities.

These degrees represent hard work, commitment, and a willingness to grow as leaders in agriculture. We are excited to see all that these members accomplish in the future!

A huge shoutout to two people who do so much for our chapter!

Congratulations to Mr. Frank, our Community Support Award recipient, and Brett Skinner, our Honorary Chapter Degree recipient!

From helping with projects and fixing things when they break to always being willing to lend a hand, these two are a big part of what makes CAT North FFA successful. Their time, patience, support, and willingness to help never go unnoticed.

We truly wouldn't be the chapter we are today without them. Thank you both for everything you do for our students, advisor, and chapter. We are so lucky to have you in our FFA family! 💙💛

Join us on May 2nd from 10 AM – 2 PM during CAT North’s SpringFest for a day full of plants, community, and celebration!

Our agriculture students have been working all year in the greenhouse to grow and cultivate a wide variety of plants, and they are so excited to share them with you. Come out and support these awesome students while finding something perfect for your home or garden!

• Starter vegetables, fruits, and herbs
• Beautiful flowers and hanging baskets
• Succulents and houseplants
