Tuesday was National Night Out and the Anne Arundel Young Marines were a part of it.
After Action Report: 2026 Eastern District National Night Out – Kinder Farm Park
Mission accomplished! Last night, the Anne Arundel Young Marines rolled into National Night Out at Kinder Farm Park, ready to represent the unit and have some fun.
🎯 Objective #1: Impress the public.
Mission Success! Our Young Marines delivered outstanding elevator speeches with confidence, professionalism, and enthusiasm. They definitely made a strong first impression.
💪 Objective #2: Test civilian readiness.
Potential recruits were challenged to push-up competitions. Some accepted the mission with confidence… others quickly discovered muscles they hadn’t used in a while!
😂 Even our XO accepted the challenge and joined the push-up competition, even going up against a three-year-old—proving that leadership means leading from the front, and occasionally from the ground!
🛡️ Between staffing the booth, the Young Marines explored the event, learned about the incredible work of our local police and first responders, and visited the many community vendors. It was a great opportunity to learn, connect with the community, and proudly represent the Anne Arundel Young Marines.
Mission Results:
● ✅ Community Engagement: Outstanding
● ✅ Elevator Speeches: On target
● ✅ Push-Up Challenges: Countless
● ✅ Teamwork: Exceptional
● ✅ Smiles and Laughter: Mission essential
Another successful mission in the books! The Anne Arundel Young Marines continue to demonstrate leadership, confidence, adaptability, and a great sense of humor wherever they go. Until the next adventure… Semper Fidelis!
