Our Pantry & Marketplace are CLOSED this week (August 3–7) for Food Distribution as we complete some exciting building renovations—including the installation of running water and bathrooms in both buildings!

🗓 Special Summer Serving Shifts - Volunteers Welcome!
Morning: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
Afternoon: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Monday–Thursday)

This week we'll be:
🧽 Deep cleaning our Pantry & Marketplace
📦 Processing and organizing donations
🍊 Restocking and resetting shelves

🧽 Weekly Volunteer Opportunity – Every Friday!

Join us every Friday from 10:30 AM–1:30 PM for our Pantry Deep Clean & Marketplace Reset!

Before hundreds of families are served each week, our team comes together to prepare both Love Wins Pantry buildings—creating a clean, organized, and welcoming space where our neighbors can receive food with dignity.

During this hands-on volunteer opportunity, you may help:

🥫 Stock shelves and organize food
📦 Sort donations and refresh storage areas
🧹 Deep clean and sanitize both pantry buildings
🛒 Reset the Marketplace for the week ahead
🤝 Jump in wherever an extra set of hands is needed

This isn't the glamorous side of volunteering—but it is one of the most important. Every shelf stocked, every floor cleaned, and every space refreshed helps create an environment where our guests feel welcomed and our teams are ready to serve.

Whether you're looking for a one-time opportunity or want to make Fridays from 10:30 AM–1:30 PM part of your regular routine, we'd love to have you!

🌞 It’s Distribution Day at Love Wins Pantry! 🎉

Join us as we serve families in our community tonight at:
📍 8187 Telegraph Road, Severn, MD
🕒 Volunteer shifts available from 3:30–7:30 PM

Volunteers of all ages are welcome, and you can serve for any amount of time.

With the heat today, we’d love some extra helping hands so our volunteers can rotate and take breaks. Cold water and electrolytes will be available, and indoor opportunities (cleaning and restocking in the A/C) are available too—just let your team leader know when you arrive.

ALL PANTRY MEETING // THIS FRIDAY, APRIL 17TH

Exciting things are happening at the Love Wins Pantry and we can not wait to tell you about them!

All those currently volunteering at the Love Wins Pantry and anyone interested in learning more about the pantry are invited to attend the 1st Quarterly Pantry Meeting of 2026.

This will be a FUN and brief meeting that allows our AMAZING Difference Makers to connect and learn more about all things Pantry & Marketplace!

Upstairs - Room 219 ( You can park near the pantry and use Entrance B, straight up the stairs!)

- Doors open and a pizza dinner will be served at 5:30pm.
- Meeting starts in-person at 6:00pm*

*Attending Virtually?: If you are interested in attending virtually, a Zoom link can be provided, please RSVP for the meeting and use the comment section to request the Zoom Link. It will also be posted on Slack the day of the meeting.

Those who attend will have the opportunity to hear about 2026 Love Wins Pantry Vision and Goals, have the opportunity to provide valuable feedback and suggestions on the operations, processes, and how we together can best support those in our local community experiencing food insecurity.

SERVING OPPORTUNITY TODAY // FRIDAY, 4/10 9AM-2PM

We were incredibly blessed with 12 unexpected PALLETS from AACFB yesterday...and could use any help that is available today!

We will be unpacking the donation and stocking Market shelves.

Any amount of time you can give makes a real difference. Even 30 minutes helps!

Come be part of getting everything ready so our guests and volunteers can walk into a space on Monday that looks and feel safe, organized, and intentionally set up to be as excellent as possible.

6 years ago today, a little team, in a little room, with a little bit to give, set out to help their neighbors as the covid pandemic swooped through the region. Its impossible to put into words all that has transpired, all the ways we've grown, all the prayers and goals that have been realized. What a mighty God we serve, that he would be mindful of us. That he would allow us to be part of His story. 6 years in and it feels like we're just getting started! When Love Moves, Love Wins!
