The National Trafficking Sheltered Alliance (NTSA) has joined Atlas Free to build one united network. Together, we will act as one collaborative community to end s*x trafficking.

Atlas Free and NTSA are building a community of local organizations that understand the vulnerabilities of s*x trafficking in their communities best and combat the problem at its source. As of April 2024, NTSA and Atlas Free came to a joint decision to integrate NTSA programs into Atlas Free’s mission.

We’re honored to announce the speakers for Sheltered Conference 2025—leaders, innovators, and advocates bringing light to the fight against trafficking.

This year’s keynote speakers bring deep experience, bold vision, and a shared commitment to seeing survivors truly free.

Keynote speakers will include:

🔵 Jeremy Vallerand, Atlas Free’s CEO & President, will highlight the collective impact in the fight against human trafficking, exploring the value of a strong, unified network, the importance of strategic focus, and the future of the Atlas Free Network.

🔵 Ambassador Cindy Dyer (ret.), a lifelong advocate for human rights and the former U.S. Ambassador to Combat Trafficking and John Richmond, Atlas Free’s Chief Impact Officer and Former U.S. Ambassador to Combat Trafficking, will have a keynote Q&A that spans administrations and perspectives, offering a global and national look at the evolving fight to end trafficking.

🔵 Kathy Givens, Former Member of the U.S. Advisory Council on Human Trafficking and Co-Founder of Twelve 11 Partners, will address the complex realities that survivors of trafficking face in the legal system. She will unpack how exploitation often leads to coerced criminal acts and how communities can respond with healing-centered, non-criminalizing support.

🔵 Sarah Byrne, Attorney at Law with Moore & Van Allen PLLC, and Dani Pinter, Senior Vice President and Director of NCOSE Law Center, will explore the legal support survivors of s*x trafficking need and how litigation can drive systemic change.

Whether you are new or have been serving in the field of anti-trafficking for decades, we invite you to join us. We are excited to have leading experts share the latest credible practices, relevant findings, and tips on how to provide the best quality of care to survivors. Together, they’ll equip, encourage, and inspire as we reimagine what’s possible in the fight against s*x trafficking.

Join us for a new virtual event coming up on March 19th from 2 to 3 PM EST on Supporting Survivors: S*x and Love Addicts Anonymous.

Survivors of s*x trafficking often struggle with deep-rooted intimacy challenges—but how can they find healing in this area? In this event, we’ll explore how the tools used to treat s*x and love addiction can be effectively adapted to support survivors in their restorative journey.
