Therapy Animal Certification Classes

Project PUP provides training and evaluation for individuals wishing to volunteer with their pets as certified therapy teams.

Certification Includes:
• Temperament and behavior assessment
• Handler education and safety protocols
• Visit etiquette and best practices
• Ongoing support for volunteer teams

Pet Tech® CPR & First Aid
Hands-on instruction in:
• Pet CPR and rescue breathing
• First aid for common emergencies
• Wellness and safety practices
• Preventive care and emergency preparedness

STAR Puppy & Basic Obedience Classes
Designed to help dogs build confidence, manners, and foundational skills.
Classes Include:
• Socialization and confidence-building
• Basic obedience (sit, stay, come, leash manners)
• Positive reinforcement training
• Preparation for therapy work or advanced training

Today, on National Dog Day, we celebrate the incredible dogs who fill our lives with love, loyalty, comfort, and purpose. They stand beside us through our happiest moments and our hardest days, asking for little more than our love in return.
For Project PUP, dogs are more than companions. They are healers, listeners, and bridges that bring people together. Whether comforting a child, visiting a senior, supporting a veteran or first responder, or simply greeting us at the door after a difficult day, dogs have a remarkable way of reminding us that we are never alone.
Today, give your dog an extra hug, a special treat, and a heartfelt thank-you for all the love they bring into this world. Happy National Dog Day from everyone at Project PUP!

This upcoming holiday season, Project PUP is incredibly honored to partner with Charlie’s Angels and Wreaths Across America to help ensure that every one of our nation’s fallen heroes is remembered with a wreath.
We know it’s only August, but honoring those who gave everything for our freedom doesn’t happen overnight. It takes a community that believes every veteran deserves to be remembered, their sacrifice recognized, and their legacy never forgotten.
When we place a wreath on a soldier’s grave, we’re doing more than laying evergreen branches. We’re saying, “Your service mattered. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten.” For families who have lost a loved one, that simple act of remembrance means more than words can express.
This year, our goal is bigger than ever, and we need your help. Whether you choose to donate a wreath or simply share this post, you become part of ensuring that no hero is left without this tribute during the holiday season.
Together, we can stand united in remembrance and gratitude. Together, we can make sure every soldier is honored.
