Our 12th annual Christmas Food Basket Giveaway is in the books! We served 60 families and even had some leftover to donate to Interfaith Ministries.

Our community stepped up like never before, donating $17,000! A new record!

Each familly received groceries to get through the holidays, along with a ham and/or a turkey for Christmas dinner.

This year, we moved our event to Seminole High School! Thank you, Mr. Dean for opening your doors for us! We gave a plaque to Todd and Darana Davis thanking them for all the years they hosted this great day at Seminole Dance Company.

We unloaded pallets of food, sorted and bagged them and had them ready to load into vehicles.

All of the families were grateful. One mom told us: “Wow! I had no idea there would be this much food when you told me you had a basket for us. You have no idea how much this means to our family!”

We also played “Santa” to seven families, purchasing, wrapping and giving out gifts to many Seminole Public Schools children. That was so much fun knowing children will have gifts to open on Christmas Day!

A big shout out to Seminole High School Student Council, who gave up their Friday morning to wrap gifts, put together rolling carts and put tags on bags!
