Sunday at our Riders 252 meeting we gave thank you awards to 3 people. James, Kat, and Jungle Bob. Congratulations to them all for their hard work for the riders and much more help they do!

Riders I got it collected $900.00 for the ladies Auxiliary Breast Cancer Awareness fund Raiser. Thanks to all the volunteers and players too!!!

Hello all,
For the past several years, my friend Greg Billings has made it his mission to personally support a local Gold Star family in need. It has been both an honor and a privilege for Tracy and me to assist him in these efforts. We have also been fortunate to have the support of the Chapter 252 Riders, who have helped not only by raising funds but also by providing hands‑on assistance, including yard clean‑ups and general home maintenance.

As we enter this year’s support cycle for our fallen heroes’ families, I will work closely with Greg to learn more about the family we will assist and understand their specific needs. Once I have those details, I will share them with the Riders so we can determine how to provide the most meaningful and impactful support possible.

One of my goals this year is to involve all ALR Districts and ALR Chapters in some capacity, and I would like to discuss this further with Jim and Michael to highlight what the Riders of District 16 can do. I would also welcome participation from other Chapter Riders.
In previous years, Post 138 has generously provided burgers and hot dogs at the benefit, and Tracy told me today that the Post 273 Auxiliary has reached out to Greg to offer their assistance as well.

Please let me know when we can meet to discuss plans for this year’s effort.

Below is the announcement and location of Greg's Benefit Concert in Safety Harbor.

"On December 6th, at The Harbor Bar in Safety Harbor, we will honor Staff Sergeant Justin Kyle Adams. This young man served three tours in Iraq defending our country. A Bronze Star Medal and Purple Heart recipient passed away in 2012 after returning stateside and was later diagnosed with stage three melanoma, believed to be caused by burn pit exposure. We will raise money during the holidays to help his mother, Melanie Adams. Stay tuned for more details."

This is the Florida Sheriffs' Youth Ranches and Leverock's Seafood Restaurant Annual Fundraiser. If you have never gone before, it's good food and a nice place. They can work with you on other food items if you don't eat seafood. If you are interested, please contact Dir. Ted Wieder and/or Road Capt. Debra was spoiled at Legion Post 252, celebrating her birthday. A big thanks to Victoria Tushaus Gross & Kenny , Yoko & Bill, Valerie Hynes-Branam ,& Jeannie Loney . Beautiful orchids & a Dessert Rose. Debra says, "Yes, life is good!" Please wish her and send her a prayer for long life and good health. Debra is a special friend and a HUGE supporter of the Veterans.

Mark your calendars for this special ride to Starkey Elementary. Classic cars, trucks, bikes, and anything else you want to ride or drive. This is an open event for all. Let's put together a Post 252 ride for the kids. This annual event is a fundraiser for Stakey PTA. They do a great job helping the children. Please email Road Captain Mike at [email protected].
