Embracing End of Life is a free monthly event hosted by Final Passages. Join us for the next virtual event on Thursday, May 21st from 6-8 PDT. Please be sure to pre-register at the link in our bio.

This presentation offers a compassionate and practical look at how to support individuals who choose Medical Aid in Dying (MAID).

Gabby has been with over 300 people who have chosen this option and will bring her experience into the conversation. She will share the legal protocols, and the steps that follow when someone has received the prescription from a doctor, which will include information about the medications, how to prepare for ingestion, what you might want to have on hand, and how to show up for someone from ingestion to last breath. This presentation will give you the tools to help get the conversation started and help support everyone in the room. At its core, this is about honoring autonomy and amplifying the voice of the person at the center of it all.

Recent testing by the Florida Department of Health found the synthetic pesticide glyphosate (Roundup) in several popular breads.

This isn’t the first time Roundup has been found in our food. It’s quite literally contaminated almost all food.

It’s the most widely used herbicide in the world and has been detected in honey, cereals, meat, drinking water, breast milk, infant formula, chips, cookies, crackers, oatmeal… the list goes on.

Exposure is linked to cancer, hormone disruption, gut microbiome damage, inflammation, neurological effects, and metabolic issues.

Glyphosate is made by Bayer – who has paid out BILLIONS to settle cancer lawsuits related to this chemical.

They are currently attempting to gain immunity at the Federal level to prevent future lawsuits, and we cannot allow this to happen.

Bayer needs to be held accountable.

The use of Roundup is banned on organic farms, which is why higher levels are routinely found on conventional (non-organic) products - but it’s so rampant in our environment that organic food is being contaminated.

Choosing to eat organic whenever possible is still the best way to protect yourself from the worst exposures.

Please share to spread the word!

The best way to stop the poisoning of our food with cancerous glyphosate is to choose organic food.

This is not only the number one way to protect yourself from consuming glyphosate…

But this is how you cut Bayer off at the knees.

Bayer’s profits are intrinsically tied to conventional farming that is reliant on glyphosate.

Organic food is the antithesis to that.

Certified organic farming bans glyphosate and GMOs.

When you buy organic you are giving the middle finger to Bayer.

Stop funding the system that is poisoning our food

PepsiCo (who I personally think is one of the worst junk food companies in the world) is a HUGE sponsor of the Super Bowl…and you probably go to Super Bowl parties where their iconic products are being served: Doritos, Lays, Ruffles, Tostitos, Fritos… but I have good news.

You don’t have to eat those insanely processed snacks!

There are incredible new alternatives and organic snacks in natural food grocery stores.

On your way to the party, pick up Tatemada (organic + no oil!), Zack’s Organic Avocado Oil Chips, MASA, Vandy's or Jackson’s chips.

And remember, there’s no good reason to keep supporting companies like Pepsico with our dollars, is there?

Vote with your dollars this year and buy snacks from companies who are doing the right things and using better ingredients. This is the fastest way to change the food industry for the better!

Please share the truth with your friends who love Doritos!
