Oil becomes both material and metaphor in 'Crude Futures,' now on view from PRS member Charlie Milgrim at Mercury 20 Gallery in Oakland.

Created using used motor oil rolled across paper with a bowling ball, these works continue to evolve over time as contaminants slowly spread across the surface. πŸ›’β³ The series reflects on the long-term environmental and political consequences tied to oil dependency, conflict, and contamination.
