Will You Join Us?!

We’re doing it again, and this time, we’re celebrating and honoring our Rainier Beach Neighborhood Heroes right in the heart of the Rainier Beach community! Join Rainier Beach Action Coalition on Saturday, December 5, from 6–9 p.m. at the Ethiopian Community in Seattle for the return of our Neighborhood Heroes Celebration, themed Honoring the HeArt of Rainier Beach.

This special evening is all about celebrating the people, creativity, culture, and community spirit that make Rainier Beach extraordinary. We’ll honor the neighborhood heroes who show up, give back, inspire others, and help make our community stronger.

As we enter the final quarter of the year, this celebration is also an opportunity to invest in Rainier Beach’s future. Your attendance and generosity help RBAC continue uplifting young people, supporting local businesses, strengthening community safety, and expanding access to healthy food and opportunity.

This is more than a fundraiser. It’s a homecoming, a celebration of our neighborhood heroes, and a reminder of what we can accomplish when we come together.

We need your support more than ever, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

We’re still hosting our weekly 1 p.m. Construction Trade Orientations every Tuesday upstairs at the Rainier Beach Food Innovation Center!

Our free orientations introduce participants to the wide range of careers available in construction while providing information about Seattle’s Priority Hire program. Attendees will learn how Priority Hire creates access to discover apprenticeship pathways and gain valuable insight into the next steps toward employment in the construction trades.

Whether you’re exploring a new career, entering the workforce, or ready to build new skills, these free orientations are a great place to start.

Rainier Beach, We Thank You!

Our 23rd Annual Rainier Beach Back2School Bash was a wonderful celebration of our youth, families, and community!

Congratulations to our Unsung Heroes honorees, whose leadership and service continue to strengthen Rainier Beach. We extend our gratitude to our family resource vendors, volunteers, sponsors, donors, staff, and everyone who helped make the day possible.

From backpacks and family resources to art, music, games, bike tune-ups, and so much more, every aspect of the Rainier Beach Back2School Bash showcased what can be achieved when our neighborhood comes together for its young people.

Thank you for celebrating 23 years with us! We wish all our students, families, and educators a joyful and successful school year!
